"I want to wake up in that city that doesn't sleep..."

"... where dreams are made of and there's nothing you can do!"
Talking about New York, what are some of the first things that come to your mind? Biggest city, Big Apple, full of high-rises, crowded, bright, never sleeps, cold (both temperature and people), fast-paced, financial, developed, etc...

For me, it is truly a place that reminds me so much of my home town, but much much bigger.
I consider New York one of the most interesting places, or cities, I have visited during my travel. Of course I have not been everywhere, so this is only from what I have seen. The city itself has this exceptional energy vibe that hardly anyone can resist. Coming to NY you can only expect to be always up-and-going, or life and people here will move you, literally. I can feel the liveliness of the city by just being in it, which is great for someone who loves traveling and adventurous things like me. However, I am not too sure about how I would feel if I wake up to that vibe every single day. Knowing me, I would probably never get to slow down a bit.

They say people in New York are probably the "coldest" people of all, which I think can be true. I have not stayed there long enough to observe the people and how they act. However, in a HUGE city where things are moving non-stop, I think it would be understandable if people are the same way. I'm not saying that I like careless people, in fact I don't like them at all, but as long as they care about certain people in their lives: family, friends, loved ones... I think that's probably enough for them.

The city itself has a lot to offer, and even though you might get lost walking around it, I'm sure you will discover new things at every corner, and most of the time you will like what you see.

Like Frank Sinatra said "I am about to make a brand new start of it right there in old New York New York..."

'Til the day we meet again...
