.Goal Set.

Shoot for the moon.  Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.  ~Les Brown

Within the past two weeks, I have heard the phrase "Write down your goals" literally more than one hundred times. Therefore, in order for me to say I have done just that, I'm writing them down as you are reading this entry.

The catch here is that goals must be attainable but are clearly something higher or greater you would like to achieve.
These goals are set for this coming year and beyond, which is perfect because the year is coming to and end. I don't know if I want to call them "New Year Resolution" because some of them might take longer than a year to achieve. I also don't know if I want to call them my "Bucket List" because some of them are just to simple. Therefore, as of right now, let's just call them "my life goals."

Some of the goals I had set and achieved:
1. Make college life as enjoyable as possible
2. Be a leader in college
3. Revived VSA at UCO and keep it going
4. Be an ISC Officer
5. Run for ISC Presidency
6. If elected as ISC President, lead the term with passion and love. Make change
7. Travel to be most significant places of the U.S.

Starting from today, everyday I would like to be able to:
8. Smile more. Be happy.
9. Bring smiles to other people's faces. Share the joy.
10. Optimistic about the future and try hard to make it better.

Within the next few years, I would like to:
11. Have an above 3.9 GPA at the end of college
12. Graduate from UCO with the Highest Honor
13. Let my family meet the wonderful people I have met here in Oklahoma, both here, in Edmond/OKC and Poteau
14. Find a GOOD job in either finance or marketing that gives me valuable experiences
15. Decide which specific field I would want to go into for my Master's Degree
16. Start looking and applying for Graduate schools to find the RIGHT one
17. Start studying for GMAT, take it, and get a good score
18. Get accepted to a Graduate school of my choice
19. Gather enough information to start thinking about what I would like to have for a career. In other words, find a job that I would actually ENJOY doing for a long time, or even until the day I retire and beyond.
20. Give back to my beloved parents and make them proud
21. Send my parents on a cruise, or on the most memorable trip of their lives to either Europe or another part of Asia
22. Help my parents take care of my baby brother until he is strong enough to stand on his own

In the longer run, ultimately I would like to be able to:
23. Visit the most beautiful beaches there are, specifically Hawaii (again), Bali, Phuket, Bahamas, Jamaica, the Baths, Culebra Ireland, Mautitius, and Australia.
24. Travel to most of Europe, Asia, South America, and some countries in Africa, most definitely Greece, Switzerland, England, France, Italy, Spain, Venezuela (Angel's Falls), Brazil, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, S. Korea, Thailand, Indonesia, Egypt, and South Africa.
25. Parasailing while visiting those exotic beaches  (Have I told you parasailing is absolutely my favorite thing to do?? The feelings is beyond compare!)
26. Find THE "Prince" of my dream, not just any Prince, but THE ONE, who I love and love me just as much, to spend the rest of my life with.
27. Take him to my home country, the beautiful Vietnam (if he is not from there already haha...). I want the one I love to see and understand how I become who I am today, as well as the love I have for my family.
28. Travel some more (or a lot more) with the love of my life...
29. Eventually, I would like to have a family of my own, with kids, of course, a girl and a boy :). I LOVE KIDS!
30. Spend as much time as I can to love and be around my children to be a good wife and mother. I have to make sure I raise them to become wonderful people.
31. When I have the ability and material to take care of myself and my direct family, including my parents, I would like to give back to others.
32. (to be continued)

Have you started on your own set of goals, you should. Write them down because without them you will not know where to start or where to go.

Though no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.
