Another year full of wonderful experiences and laughers begins now.
The pageant went well, as usual. Everything turned out better than we could ask for, with a few frustrations here and there, but overall, I hope each and every girl had had beautiful memories and experience. I'm sure they know they are wonderful no matter what the results say.
I have to say I am so proud of my baby sister... I have known her for almost 3 years, and she never seizes to amaze me with her abilities. Whether it is the imitating talent that she has, the bubbly personality, or the ability to keep a constant smile on her face.
It felt great to see someone so close to you, your sister, your men-tee, to grow up become such a wonderful young lady who is not afraid of stepping up and being involved. The moment they called her name as the new Queen, I cried... the tears of happiness. I am so happy I have influenced her life in such a way that gives her the opportunities to experience all the wonderful things that come her way.
She will be just as great, or even better all of us past Queens. Her future is full of promises that only she has the abilities to turn to realities...
Until then, I want her to know I am here besides her no matter what, even if one day we may have to part to go on different paths of life. I will still be right where she needs me.
Because to me, she will always be the little bubbly girl that makes fun of everything and lives her life full of joy everyday.
Congratulations again, Ling Ling, Nhu, Carolyn, Jennifer, Kaelyn and everyone else... You girls made the past two months of my life unforgettable. Keep shining and representing who you are with love.
